About — End of Abyss Wiki

End of Abyss Wiki is an independent, volunteer-run reference site for End of Abyss, the top-down twin-stick shooter Metroidvania by Section 9 Interactive and published by Epic Games Publishing. The game launched on October 1, 2026 (a few storefront regions still display September 30, 2026) for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, where it is an Epic Games Store exclusive.

The site is written for players who are stuck rather than for people who finished the game. Early in a game's life the official channels are thin, community knowledge is scattered across videos and forum threads, and the questions that matter most are practical ones: where do I go next, what does this item actually do, which upgrade should I take first, and why am I taking damage I cannot see coming. That is what this wiki exists to answer.

What we cover

Region walkthroughs — the areas players are documenting, including Factory East, Factory West, Waterworks and the Containment Sector.
Progression systems — the scanner, save and crafting stations, weapon components, permanent ability upgrades, health upgrades and the fast travel shuttle.
Boss encounters — how each fight is triggered, what it does, and which strategies actually work.
Endings and completion — how many endings there are, how to reach them, and the full PlayStation trophies and Xbox achievements list.

The game is buy-to-play with no in-game purchases, its voice acting is in an invented language, and it supports several languages including Simplified and Traditional Chinese. There is no PC release on Steam, so every PC reference on this site points at the Epic Games Store version.

How we work

We only publish what we can verify in our own playthrough or confirm from at least one independent source. Where sources disagree, or where we have not confirmed something ourselves, the page says so instead of guessing. Every guide carries the date it was last checked, because a patch can invalidate a route overnight.

If a guide turns out to be wrong, tell us and we will fix it or take it down. Corrections are the most valuable email we receive.

This is not an official site

End of Abyss Wiki is an unofficial fan wiki. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Section 9 Interactive or Epic Games. End of Abyss, its logos, its characters and its world belong to their respective owners; we reference them only to describe the game this site is about. All game content referenced here belongs to its respective developers and publishers.
